Cedric's coming up on his second birthday at the end this month. It's really quite amazing how time flies. I literally remember the first time I held him, fed him, changed a nappie and how I'd never smelled anything quite so gross in my life.
Aw, hell. I'm getting all misty-eyed.

I don't really have any excuse for not updating this, you know. I mean I'm a bloke, and I'm not much for clever words and all. I leave that to my brilliant wife. I just sort of stand around screeching about dragons and the squid.
Oh man, I remember this one time at Hogwarts -- speaking of squid -- that someone fed it pumpkin pasties. NEVER EVER feed a squid pumpkin pasties, seriously people. They're ALLERGIC to PUMPKIN. You just end up with orange GUNK sort of like sponges only not spongy at all. More like... well sick, because that's what it is. It's SICK. SICK SICK SICK. Don't do it people. Someone's going to have to clean that up. SOMEONE.
Just... I beg you.. Think of the squid, all right? THINK of the squid.
Warded to Doc Dearborn & Douglas Cornfoot:
Sorry I had to miss pub night this week. Did I miss anything particularly interesting?

I really hate Death Eaters. Kind of a shite state of affairs, and it's really sad when it's someone you know. Since the name was withheld in the papers, I'm not going to spill it here either. I just think it's kind of sick to take away someone's family like that. Mum, dad, son, daughter, cousin, close friend... Doesn't matter who it is, that's a big giant hole ripped out of someone, and then everyone around that person because you just feel so bloody badly for them.
Warded to Vivian:
Stupid question, I know, but so I don't forget -- as I have a tendency to do -- could you press my black suit for the wake tomorrow? I'll be home early and I could do it, but you do it so much better than I do, and I just want to look properly respectable. I know we didn't know Margaret all that well, but Doc's been my best mate since school and all, and I can't show up looking like a slob.
Warded to Doc Dearborn:
I know you've heard it all around, but you need anything? A beer? A punching bag? An ounce of blood? To watch me rip a single nose hair out the Muggle way? You name it, and you know I'll do it for you, mate.

WHAT the BLEEDING HELL is wrong with civilians people? You see a dragon, you DON'T go up to it and pet it. You'll get GORED. And then you'll file a complaint to have the dragon put down and then I have to do a TONNE of paperwork to figure out if we should or not, and THEN I have to put it down because YOU were an idiot.
Note to self: maybe I should put scars ON DISPLAY to put people off about getting too close to dragons when they're not capable of handling them. ESPECIALLY NOT ALONE.
Warded Private:
I don't like that Vivi seems to think she's a terrible person because she was glad we weren't there on Sunday. What the HELL is wrong with those people? Seriously? Is that what's it come to? Attacking little kids and their Muggle parents? They have no idea what's going on. They don't know that people hate them simply because of how they were born -- well, at least to the point that people want to kill them for it. How ridiculous is that!
Why should we have to feel like this all of the time? It makes no sense, and it's not FAIR!
